The Help to Grow: Management Course Association of Business Mentors (ABM) membership is designed to support you in gaining more experience as a mentor through volunteering opportunities. This includes access to many of the ABM’s training and development opportunities and access to the regional network. For more information please click on the links below.

Volunteer mentors on the Help to Grow: Management Course are able to apply for a match-funded place on an ILM 5 or ILM 7. This offers a subsidised path for volunteer mentors to access a high-level qualification to support their business mentoring.

We invite all Help to Grow: Management Course mentors to join a Peer-to-Peer Mentoring Group. 

Peer-to-peer mentoring is a process in which participants share their knowledge and expertise with each other in order to support their growth and development. Not only can this process help to improve the skills and knowledge of team members, but it can also foster a critical awareness of the key issues around mentoring and helps to grow your mentoring network. Most mentors find that the best time to join a Peer-to-Peer Mentoring Group is when they first match with a participant. 

They are facilitated by an experienced member of the Association of Business Mentors and each session will explore a different aspect of mentoring.
